Edmonton Moving

Edmonton moving! It took 5 days of traveling - but we did it! We made the move! And we're here!

We could not be more excited! Today is the day that would end our big move to Edmonton. As fun as it's been, we were more than happy to arrive in Edmonton. Our drive was full of anticipation of finally getting to our destination.

Had to scrape frost of the car before leaving in the morning. Not a good sign. We hadn't really packed that well for immediate cold weather.

Hope we can get into the moving truck soon!

Edmonton Moving: Day 5

Miles Traveled: 810 miles

Times We Stopped: 3 times

Hours Traveling: 10 hours - 1 hour roaming Edmonton - trying to figure out how to get to our temporary home!

Quoatable Quote: me, while pointing to the left - "Okay, now turn right." Sadly, that's not the only time I've done that - but thankfully I only did that once on this trip!

Rest Stop Fun: We made it to Edmonton - so excited that our trip was over - our excitement only to be dashed as we wandered around Edmonton trying to find our temporary home.

Edmonton is big! Edmonton has one way streets - something we learned very quickly!

This Albertan city is full of streets whose names are numbers. Are confusion came in because streets can be named the same number - but for a fictional example - 55 Street is entirely different from 55 A Street, which is different than 55 B Street, which is different than 55 St NW....hmmmm...we've got some learning to do as far as navigation is concerned!

We're happy to be in Edmonton though!

After travelling 40 plus hours in the car, we were well aware that Edmonton was located to the North!

However, this was the sign we have been waiting so long to see! We were finally home!
